Shortly after 0830, LCWC dispatched MTFR units from Station 27 and Station 24 (Eden) for a vehicle accident with possible fire in the area of Oregon Pike and Creek Road. Chief 272 (Slaymaker)  arrived to find on mini van over an embankment with one patient confined. Chief 20 (Kane) arrived and was assigned to the Rescue Group Supervisor. Chief 20 assigned Truck 24 to stabilization, stokes basket and set a haul. Engine 271 arrived and assisted Truck 24 with stabilization and removing the driver's door. Extrication was completed within 40 minutes after arrival from Truck 24. Oregon Pike was shut down for an extended period of time until the tow truck removed the car.
